But last night, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie felt the need to put on a united front as they stepped out for a meal at the Dolce Vita restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Was it just coincidence that this rare public display of affection took place on the day a new unauthorised, tell-all book on the couple was released?
